Software Test Automation for POS Solutions Provider

The Challenge

Our customer faced many challenges in testing their POS software manually. Manual testing is time-consuming and highly dependent on human judgement. As the software development cycle shortened, it became increasingly difficult for the manual testers to meet deadlines.

The Solution

We developed test model and automation test scripts for verification and regression testing. We worked with our customer to establish the test automation framework and integrate continuous testing with their DevOps platform, allowing defects to be detected early in the development cycle. Now, the test automation solution includes performance testing, which was previously not feasible.

The Result

Test throughput tripled while the increase in test coverage improved the quality of the software releases, resulting in fewer customer complaints.
