Following the devastating floods recently in Malaysia, numerous parties have rallied together to give various form of aids from distributing food and essential supplies at relief centers to conducting post-flood clean-up operations in the affected areas.
At Tekmark Group, we are wholeheartedly committed to join the nationwide effort in supporting and aiding the flood victims. Hence, we have pledged a contribution of RM8,000 to Tzu Chi Malaysia and Uncle Kentang Fund to support the ongoing flood relief operations.

2016 – A group of Tekmarkers have dedicated their time volunteering at Soup Kitchen in Jinjang Utara to serve free lunches to urban poor and homeless within the community. Regular office workers and businessmen are welcomed too, aims to eliminate the stigma attached to those in need, providing them with dignity and acceptance within the broader community.
About Soup Kitchen
Soup Kitchen is a restaurant which is open to everyone to provide free lunches the poor and homeless. Currently, there are two Soup Kitchens, one in Alor Setar and another in Jinjang Utara, Kuala Lumpur. Collectively, they feed 400 people daily.

The 7th World Summit on Media for Children (WSMC 2014), focusing on the role of media in the development, education and well-being of children, marked a historical moment as it is convened in Asia for the first time. Kuala Lumpur was chosen as the host city for this significant event, organized by the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU) and the World Summit on Media for Children Foundation, and proudly hosted by Radio Television Malaysia (RTM).
Tekmark was not only an active participant but also a sponsor of WSMC 2014, held from September 8th-10th 2014. As part of Tekmark’s ongoing commitment to Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR), we actively engage in initiatives aimed at enhancing our community’s well-being through charitable endeavors. In line with this commitment, a group of Tekmarkers visited the Children’s Home of Rumah Charis in Taman Yarl, Kuala Lumpur, on January 20,2011. Our objective was to extend warmth, joy and love to the children in need, with the hope of brightening their lives.
We hope that our presence will bring warmness, cheers, joys and a lot of love to children in need.
About Rumah Charis
Rumah Charis was founded in 1988 by Reverend Teo How Ken and officially registered with the Registrar of Society of Malaysia. It is a non-profit organization with a multifaceted mission. Beyond providing care for orphans and children from single-parent families, Rumah Charis also operates an Old Folks Home, Centre for Autism and Learning Difficulties, along with several other dedicated learning centers.

Haiti Earthquake
A 7.0 earthquake struck the country of Haiti on 12 January 2010. It has affected the capital Port-au-Prince and other areas in the West Province which has an estimated population of 2.2 million.
Haiti is the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere. Many of its nearly 10 million residents live in poverty. The country’s most severe earthquake in more than 200 years has resulted in the death of nearly 200,000 people and displaced close to 400,000. Initial reports indicate that many buildings including the presidential palace, homes and walls toppled under the strain of the earthquake.
As part of our commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) and our dedication to improving the well-being of our community through charitable actions, Tekmark has launched a fundraising initiative. This effort, driven by voluntary contributions from all Tekmarkers, aims to aid the survivors of the Haiti earthquake. The funds collected have been donated to World Vision Malaysia, with the intention of assisting survivors in rebuilding their lives.
