Tekmark Flood Relief Donation
In doing our part, Tekmark Group is committed to join the nationwide effort in supporting and providing assistance to the flood victims. Hence, a small contribution by Tekmark Group through Tzu Chi Malaysia and Uncle Kentang fund to support the flood relief action

Since December 2021, nearly 9,000 Tzu Chi volunteers participated in the flood relief actions to deliver packed meals and initiate clean-up activity to the flood victims. Thereby enabling the flood victims to restore their lives to normalcy soon.
Meanwhile, Uncle Kentang and his team of volunteers have been on the ground since the onset of the flood in various locations – from arranging for rescue boats, to distributing food and basic necessities.
Given the extensive damage, the Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) welcome contributions and volunteers from the public and corporations to enable them to serve more people.

RM10K donated to support COVID-19 relief in Malaysia

MALAYSIA, June 16, 2021— Our country’s healthcare is suffering with hospitals nationwide are operating at near capacity and the essential medical supplies and protective gears are very much needed by frontliners. Hence it is crucial now for us to help the local healthcare system, so that they could increase their efforts in fighting against COVID-19.
Tekmark donates RM10K to Tzu Chi Malaysia.
Tekmark Group are always committed to play our part in the national response to this pandemic and supporting the frontliners in any way possible. As Malaysia rallies in the fight against COVID-19 during this “Total-Lockdown” period, Tekmark Group has donated RM10,000 to Tzu Chi Malaysia to support its COVID-19 response efforts.
Since May 2021, Tzu Chi has donated medical equipment worth RM6.2 million to support the healthcare system in Malaysia. Tzu Chi also invites all interested parties to help the cause by donating to help its Covid-19 response efforts in Malaysia and abroad.

During these unprecedented times, it’s important that we come together. Tekmark Group is proud to support the amazing healthcare professionals in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic by pledging our Thermal Imaging System to Hospital Sungai Buloh, one of the Malaysia’s main coronavirus treatment centre to ease their temperature screening process until the pandemic is over.
We wanted to express our heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to our front-liners who are tirelessly and selflessly working to end this pandemic and what better way than to contribute via our test & measurement know-how.

Soup Kitchen 2016
Soup Kitchen is a restaurant setting which is open to everyone to provide daily free lunches for the urban poor and homeless in the community. Regular office workers and businessmen are welcomed, so as to remove the stigma from the poor and needy and to give them dignity. We want them to know that we care and they are accepted by the community at large.
There are currently two Soup Kitchens, one in Alor Setar and another in Jinjang Utara, Kuala Lumpur. Collectively we feed about 400 people a day.

ASEAN Skills Competition 2016
The ASEAN Skills Competition occurs every two years and is the biggest vocational education and skills excellence event in the ASEAN country that truly reflects global industry.
The ASC Kuala Lumpur 2016 looks forward to making a signicant and meaningful contribution to the exciting future of ASEAN. The event will start on 23 – 28 September 2016 at MAEPS – Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang.
ASC 2016 can help to create Corporate Social Responsibility of industry in Malaysia to produce competitive, skilled workforce in order to achieve a target of 33% employment of highly skilled workers within the general workeforce by 2015, and up to 50% by 2020.

World Summit On Media For Children (WSMC 2014)

This is the first time the global summit on media in the development, education and wellbeing of children is taking place in Asia. Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia was selected to host the 7th World Summit on Media for Children in September 2014. The Summit is organised by the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU) and the World Summit on Media for Children Foundation and hosted by Radio Television Malaysia (RTM).
Tekmark has participated and sponsored in the World Summit On Media For Children (WSMC 2014) from 8th of September to 10th September 2014. This is in line with Tekmark’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and it is an on-going company initiatives to make a positive difference towards our community well-being through charitable deeds, always.
By participating in the WSMC 2014, we can help to achieve the summit objectives by providing future opportunities for high-quality media for children around the world.

Tekmark fully concurs with the vision that qualified engineers of tomorrow must be technologically competent, market conscious, commercially adept, environmentally sensitive and responsive to human needs as espoused by the Engineering Council of UK. Tekmark will shoulder its responsibility in this noble cause with other engineering fraternity to assist in the formation of young Malaysian engineers of the new millennium by providing the essential real-life practical and experiential exposure through the offering of industrial training/ placements to selected engineering students from our local public and private higher education institutions.

Visit to Rumah Charis on 20 Jan 2011

In line with Tekmark’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR),it is an on-going company practices to make a positive difference towards our community well-being through charitable deeds, to support and to fulfill our CSR, a group of Tekmarkers have made a visit to Children Home of Rumah Charis at Taman Yarl, KL on 20 January 2011 (Thursday).
Rumah Charis, a non-profit organization, was founded in 1988 by Reverend Teo How Ken and registered with the Registrar of Society of Malaysia on Dec 10, 1993, While Children Home provides care for orphans and single parent children and teenagers age between 4 to 20 years old, there are Old Folks Home, Centre for Autism and Learning Difficulties and a few other learning centers managed by Rumah Charis. Haiti Earthquake 2010
A 7.0 earthquake struck the country of Haiti on 12 January. It has affected the capital Port-au-Prince and other areas in the West Province which has an estimated population of 2.2 million.
Haiti is the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere. Many of its nearly 10 million residents live in abject poverty. The country’s most severe earthquake in more than 200 years has resulted in the death of nearly 200,000 people and displaced close to 400,000. Initial reports indicate that many buildings including the presidential palace, homes and walls toppled under the strain of the earthquake.
In line with our commitment to our Corporate Social Responsibility in making a positive difference towards our community well-being through charitable deeds, Tekmark has initiated a fund raising through voluntary contribution from all Tekmarkers to support the survivors of Haiti earthquake. The fund raised shall be contributed to a charity organization i.e. World Vision Malaysia and it will be channeled to the survivors and help them rebuild their lives.
